As some of you will know, the last 6 months have been a lot. I’ve been under a high amount of stress, and it’s taken a real toll on my physical health - causing my chronic illnesses to flare up and new symptoms which have landed me in hospital twice in the last week 😭 I won’t go into detail as I don’t want any DMs regarding any medical stuff - I wanna leave that to my consultants 🙏🏻 It’s been my body’s not-so-gentle reminder that I need to slow down and rest for a while so I’m making a few changes to my channel:

I am sick of the unsolicited commentary on my appearance from people who can’t even look in the mirror without flinching.

I am AWARE I’ve gained weight. Believe me, I’m aware. I live in this body. God forbid a girl suffers a life changing injury and gains a few kilos. God forbid a girl EXISTS IN A BODY.

I don’t need your passive-aggressive ‘concern’. I don’t need your ‘interest’ about ‘what happened’ to my body.

Moving forward, comments on my social platforms will be limited to people I follow back. I want to apologise to my wider community because I love interacting with you but I need to protect my mental health right now.
